I am an educator, life-long learner, technologist and learning space maker.

As an educator and as a co-founder of a social enterprise, the co-design process is integral to all of my work. Encouraging bold ideas, radical inclusion and empowering others to do their best work is what drives me.

I enjoy activating and delivering programmes that increase and encourage the capability of entrepreneurs. Likewise, developing opportunities for teachers and schools to grow their makerspaces, and to make the most of the tools they have.

My coaching, leadership learning and extensive facilitation experience embraces a holistic view of educational leadership.

Outcomes of my work, whether it be through appraisals or individual/collective learning development, include leaders demonstrating and appreciating broadened, deeper reflection, and changing their thinking, behaviour and practice related to ākonga outcomes.

Knowing that leadership and leadership learning is all about change, my strengths based approach to leadership or group development enhances the quality of learning experiences, enables leader agency to contribute to performance improvement and creates sustainable, transferable change.

Ko te reo, me taku ahurea te tūāpapa o taku katoa, koia pū te take e herea katoa nei aku mahi ki ēnei āhuatanga ōku. Ko Te Reo Māori me te Ao Hangarau aku kaupapa matua, ā, ko tāku e whai ai, kia tutuki katoa a mātou ākonga ki ngā tiketiketanga e whanake ai te whakaaro nui me te auahatanga, i roto tonu i te ao.

With my language and culture being my foundation, and drive in everything I do, it has become an integral part of my work, and is implemented in the learning and development I facilitate in schools. Specialising in Digital Fluency and Te Reo Māori me ōna Tikanga, my focus is ensuring innovative digital learning that contributes to higher thinking and creativity, with a Māori worldview.

Digital technologies curriculum, Science & STEAM, Digital fluency

Specialising in the Digital Technologies/Hangarau Matihiko Curriculum implementation, digital fluency and science, my focus is on making easy links between technology, the curriculum and what you are already doing in your programme.

I believe that students learn best when their learning is active, collaborative, creative, and relates to them personally in the real world, and that we need to prepare our students for a fast-moving digital world where they have the skills to not only use digital technologies, but to design and create digital systems.
