The GEG NZ Hangout on Air – GAFE Summit is aimed at showcasing how the Google Educator Group for New Zealand are working to help other educators Learn, Share, Inspire and Empower one another. This hangout was part of a face to face presentation at the Google Apps for Education Summit held at Burnside High School recently. During this session Rob covered how to get going with Google Plus and the various aspects to consider when setting it up, as well as a smackdown which was contributed to by Justine Driver and Fiona Grant from Auckland. We finished with the announcement of our inaugural NZ Student Summit, to be held at Hobsonville Point Secondary School August 12 2015. We invite all educators in NZ to support a team of students to either present face to face, or to present virtually using hangout on air.
