Transcript: Dayna Hill Testimonial

Hi I’m Dayna from Mangere Central School and I attended a 3-day workshop called Empowering The Digital Office.

Being in the administration area of the school I find it difficult to find really good PD and this was ideal for everything that I needed.

It was a full day for the first day and I was able to utilize that skill and go home and practice and then the second day it was building from that and continued on on the third day.

For the next 3 – 4 days I was quite intensely making sure that I had everything up-to-date in my laptop for work and it set me out for a really easy process so I can work through that now.

Some of the skills that I have learned are streamlining my processes so that they have taken less time. Anything that would take normally an hour is now taking me close to 15 minutes to 20 minutes.

All of my systems are far more organized so it’s much easier to find and track and collate the information that I need.

The course that Rob led was a great course. It was a small group of participants which meant that it was targeted for what our needs were.

Rob had a great ability to cater to individual needs so in a small group we were all listened to and the format of the day was highlighted as to what we were needing to get out of the course.

I felt that was very valuable. I would highly recommend to meet Rob and do his courses. The 3-day course was of huge benefit to me and the next and upcoming classes that I’ve signed up for I feel would really benefit to flow on and excel and expand what I’ve already learned.

It’s just fabulous to know that there is something out there for administrators.
