With experience leading culturally diverse schools both in NZ and overseas, I am passionate about creating safe, empowering, inclusive and respectful learning cultures focused on student success.

As an accredited coach, I focus on developing authentic leadership, advocating a collaborative approach that fosters ecosystems in which staff are both supported and challenged to grow personally and professionally.

I believe in using and developing the experience and expertise of the people I work with to build transformative cultures and teams based on relational trust.

Approaching my work with a focus on developing increased learner agency and ownership, I am passionate about coaching for improved performance, and developing leadership capability.

As both Ngāi Tahu and a former principal with over 30 years of experience in education, I am passionate about helping leaders to become more culturally responsive.

I enjoy helping leaders and teams develop inclusive learning environments and bringing Te Tiriti o Waitangi to life.

Passionate about future-focused learning, I enjoy helping educators and education transition from traditional to student-led classrooms.

I love learning through experimentation and play, building teachers’ capability by encouraging them to give things a go and supporting them to overcome barriers.

I am a specialist leader of Digital Technologies with a teaching background spanning over 20 years, covering a broad range of year levels and curriculum areas.

As an educationalist coming from a previous specialisation in The Arts, who has nurtured creativity on a daily basis, I facilitate programmes that support teachers to empower students to make, create and innovate, while thinking critically and problem solving.

An experienced school principal, cluster leader, coach, mentor and speaker with a passion for enabling our students to thrive through student centered learning, rich tasks, meaningful learning contexts and empowered staff.

I enjoy mentoring leaders at all levels, empowering them through a range of strategies to make positive gains in learning outcomes, learner and staff agency, and wellbeing.

As an experienced researcher, curator and professional historian, I am fascinated by historical facts and their significance in shaping local context.

Excited by sharing knowledge and teaching people how to research their own community histories, I work intentionally and respectfully to challenge assumptions where necessary, and help schools discover their truth.
